Our Mission
We are a Christian based preschool. Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self-esteem and confidence through positive feedback. We nurture their natural strengths. A child see’s the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
Programs
Infant (ages 6 weeks - 12 mo)
No doubt that activities in the first year of your baby’s life are crucial in shaping their future. At Kids Stuff Academy we monitor and stimulate your baby’s cognitive, emotional and physical development along with caring for their daily needs. Our specially trained infant teachers create a loving and nurturing environment where your baby will feel safe and secure. We start our days with Bible stories.
PreToddler (ages 12mo-24mo)
At this stage of growth and development, your child is demonstrating their independence in so many new ways. Observing their new behavior is exciting and rewarding. These early learning experiences are crucial to success in school and relationships. The Young Toddler program at Kids Stuff Academy is designed to accommodate each child at their individual level. Development programs focus on improving gross and fine motor skills, receptive and expressive language and helping each child understand relationships with themselves and others. We start our days with Bible stories.
Toddler (age 2)
Our Creative Curriculum is designed to emphasize the independence and eagerness for learning characteristics of two-year-olds. The program at Kids Stuff Academy provides the structure and guidance necessary to teach children to share, get along with others and perform tasks that require a longer attention span. Listening to stories, singing songs, playing games and creating art projects help develop language and vocabulary skills as well as movement and sensory motor skills. We start our days with Bible stories.
Preschool (ages 3-5)
The Preschool program at Kids Stuff Academy focuses on preparing children for Kindergarten. The teachers at Kids Stuff create an environment that develops a strong foundation for your child’s educational career. In this program, the school day becomes more structured, encouraging each child to develop individuality and self-confidence. The focus remains on creating a loving and fun environment where your child can explore literature, music, drama, poetry, art and other activities that develop cognitive skills. Children also learn independence and self-awareness through teaching reasonable limits and positive emotional patterns. We always start our days with the Pledge of Allegiance and Bible stories.
After School
The after school program allows you to focus on your job while knowing that your child is starting homework and enjoying friends in a safe and enriching atmosphere. In addition, children enjoy an opportunity to unwind with supervised group and individual indoor and outdoor activities.
Full Day Summer Camp (Elementary)
Kids Stuff Academy Summer Adventure Camp will be an unforgettable experience for your child, full of fun and friendship, wonder and excitement. This program is designed for children ages 5-10. Field trips, arts and crafts and hiking are just a few of the activities your child will enjoy. Meals and snacks as well as transportation for all activities is provided.
